Ray Lewis is a married man with three teenage daughters. However his wife claims that ‘he was born for the world and to make a difference’. Even before their marriage in 1984, Ray was heavily involved in his community and especially young people with whom he has an amazing rapport. He is able to go into the most trying circumstances and communicate hope. Beginning 1983 at the age of 19; he ran a youth club in a small church hall in the middle of one of the most difficult housing estates in Hackney, East London.
