Your media journey started at just 12 years old. How did that early start shape your sense of purpose and how has it evolved since?

My media presence began at the age of 12 professionally, but I know my sense of purpose began at the age of 10.It’s interesting, as I was privileged, throughout my life to have always been surrounded by and developed in an environment of prestige, but I also cultivated a sense of awareness, where I was able to relate to persons from all walks of life, with a deep sense of purpose and empathy. Having a deep sense of purpose, helped me to build upon my values and principles. With that, my LOVE for all people, from diverse backgrounds, cultures and social statusnurtured my ability to lead and thrive, in any industry, tier and/or sector.

In a world dominated by influencers and fast content, what does “inspiration” really mean to you and how do you keep it authentic on your show?

Inspiration to me is enlarging my vision, whether it is for personal discovery, family, business or community connectivity. I get inspired when I can inspire others in their endeavours that creates or builds upon generational greatness. I am confident in who I am, and I can honestly say, I have never sought after what others were doing. I am a creator, and I have a creative mind, that is evidence-based. So, being myself, being well-rounded and having a people acumen, is what drives my shows authenticity. Fast content is not what really matters, if the content is not relevant or fact-based. I think we are in an age, where it’s a lot of noise, and most of the noise is a distraction.

You've worked across beauty, hospitality, education and government sectors. What’s one leadership principle that’s remained constant across it all?

A leadership principle that has remained for me is Integrity. I exude integral principles and practices, and because of that it produces of level of trust and assurance. When you are in a leadership role over another human being, you must be aware and equipped for that responsibility. This affects the trajectory of the life and live hood of others, that can have a generational impact, whether negative or positive. As a leader those persons are looking to you for guidance and believing that you as leader will make integral decisions upon their behalf.

Building an authentic network is often touted as a key to success, but what do you think it takes to build a network that’s not just large, but truly impactful and aligned with your values, especially in a globalised digital landscape?

Building an authentic network is mainly built upon by experience and being knowledgeable in a certain area or several areas. Not just talking about the subject matter, but having the evidence to prove your knowledgeability, to speak upon your experiences and how others can learn to build their own networks authentically. Being a person of value with authenticity aligns with your values, and it will be displayed in what you do and speak. I LOVE a quote from my favourite Physicist, Albert Einstein, “Seek Not to Become a Person of Success, but Instead to Become a Person of Value.”

You’ve built bridges from Washington, DC to Jamaica, Hong Kong and beyond. How do you navigate global spaces without losing cultural identity?

I don’t want to sound redundant, but it goes back to authenticity, integrity, life experiences and professionalism. You must have a mutual respect for persons who don’t look like, you, who don’t talk like you, who don’t act like you and who don’t think like you. Adaptability is key. My family is a mixture of diversity so, that is something that comes naturally. I think people shouldn’t put an emphasis on global spaces, if they haven’t done anything localized. Globalization is totally different element.

Generation Inspiration has become a space of healing and ambition. What kinds of conversations are young women most hungry for right now?

I am grateful to have been able to provide a safe space where I can celebrate my guests in their life endeavours, in a variety of areas. The content I provide is geared to intellectually stimulate the subconscious mindset, motivate the senses and to provide a healthy vibration. What I have noticed, it that the listeners are eager for more information in areas that educates them, piques their interest in expansion and proactive solutional strategies while navigating in the uncertainty of political nuances. I think women are more hungry for women empowering and advancing women genuinely, without motives.

P. Rob, you've consistently secured high-profile guests for your show, Generation Inspiration. What do you believe has been the key to attracting such top-tier talent? Could you share some of your favourite interviews and what made them stand out to you?

I think you attract what you are. I’m not in any way trying to sound arrogant. The calibre of my guests are the types of persons I have interacted with throughout my entire life, professionally and personally. I have worked with top government dignitaries and ambassadors to public figures. I can say, I enjoy all my guests. I have had talent on my show from a member of the Royal British Society to Financial Historian/Advisor(s) who deals with only high net worth clients on billion-dollar deals. Of course, The Black Women’s Network UK, the cast of the Bob Marley One Love Biopic, to Business and Youth Mentorship Leaders. No matter who I have had on my show, or their global domicile, one major proponent they all have conveyed is how genuine they are. I have truly been blessed to have some great, top-tier talent to celebrate on my show weekly.

As someone deeply invested in legacy, what advice would you give the next generation of leaders about building platforms with integrity, not just popularity?

Being your authentic self, not trying to be someone else, identifies who you really are. Integrity is a vital component in a world where falsity runs rampant. Creativity, Professionalism, Respect and being Knowledgeable are factors to propel you and to set you apart from others.

Paulette’s journey underscores how embracing authenticity, leveraging technology and focusing on meaningful connections can transform careers and businesses. Her insights provide a blueprint for anyone looking to navigate leadership in the digital age while staying true to themselves and making a global impact.
