#AdebayoJonesLuxuryFabulocious is managing 2020. How?

We started off with an outline of goals and aspirations for the new year.

We had shows, collections and product launches lined up. The year was geared up with activities from beginning to end of the year.

The world health pandemic came and dealt a different hand to everyone’s plans.

Business weaknesses can be adapted into strengths and the fear, gloom, anxiety turned around into opportunities.

COVID-19 has meant we were able to invest time designing and launching our four lifestyle product lines which will be coming anytime now.

Our difficult fashion line also received the attention it deserves because we have always concentrated on Haute Couture.

The ready-to-wear line is a composition of beautifully hand created wearable, functional and versatile collection of classic pieces and separates which also launches online shortly.

Considering the mood at the start of 2020, encouraging and inspiring one another was key. Fear and worry can indeed incapacitate one’s drive and energy.

We started our series on IG Live called ‘Studio Time with Adebayo Jones’.

The show celebrates success stories from a diverse range of professionals and entrepreneurs.

They share their career journey, how they overcame obstacles to winning.

Our guests share their passion, goals and many memorable moments in the course of their journeys. 58 episodes so far and we are going stronger by the day.

Truly inspiring and uplifting indeed.

COVID-19. Fashionista or flop?

The fashion industry has often been referred to as the favourite child of capitalism and has the current task of reinventing itself for a sustainable future as it appears.

It is an industry however that is more than capable of doing so. Fashion as they say keeps recycling itself.

COVID-19 has taught us many lessons and the first of it is not possible to revert to our old ways of doing things.

The industry is faced with innovating new ways of operating and seriously rethinking how it is running its business, by adapting to new processes and models.

What more for the #KingofBling in 2021?

2020 has indeed taught us dependancy on particular modules of running our operations are not quite suited to embrace unforeseen situations like the COVID-19 experience and we have Brexit to follow.

For many, it shook the very foundations of which many operational systems were based.

Some could swim to safety, some couldn’t unfortunately manage the drastic effects caused by this pandemic.

What mattered however was ones swift response to adapting to change; finding new ways of working effectively and of course, the ability to lead and innovate creatively.

So come 2021, it will be embraced and positivity and passion. Exploring opportunities and innovate processes of being able to operate effectively would be certainly key.

We look forward to fully launching our online vision; finding our niche and also in the process expanding our product lines offerings.

it would be wonderful to explore other ways of marketing and promoting new product lines.

As a brand, we will continue to find innovative ways of showcasing and presenting our new lines other than during the seasonal fashion week shows of the past.

It’s time to embrace the next year with vision, hope, courage, resilience and a positive vibe aimed at achieved the good virtues of success and stability.
