Colette Machado is a former BBC journalist and former newspaper editor who now helps business owners, CEOs, and entrepreneurs to get featured in the media and position themselves as a go-to expert in their field.

An award-winning journalism tutor, Colette has successfully secured media coverage for clients in the UK and internationally in mainstream media outlets such as BBC TV, BBC Radio, BBC Online, Sky News, ITV London, Bloomberg, Times Radio, The Telegraph, as well as in property media outlets, local newspapers, online sites, and podcasts.

Colette took up the role of Editor at The Weekly Gleaner newspaper at the age of 24, after one year as a reporter, making her one of the UK’s youngest-ever national newspaper editors. In her 10-year stint as a BBC online news journalist, she has interviewed hundreds of people as well as covered several high-profile court cases including the July London bombings in 2005. She has also been the publisher and editor of an online sales magazine and editor for various niche magazine titles.
