Tell us about the businesses you run

One Residential & Land offers a host of services to people wanting to invest in property.

We also source properties for investors; offer practical solutions to people struggling to pay their mortgage and offer a mortgage rescue service to help clients who are facing repossession.

With the One Residential Mortgage Rescue System, you can simply hand over your mortgage responsibility, and WE WILL PAY YOUR MORTGAGE and all your other property related expenses until we are able to get your property sold.

This means if you want to sell your property, and you are either financially unable to pay your mortgage, and your property is not selling, as long as you qualify, we will pay your mortgage and look after all your property costs until we are able to complete a sale for your property.

We also have a lettings arm (Eight 8 Lettings) where we provide a residential lettings and a property management service.

We provide landlords with peace of mind by removing the hassle of renting your property and acting as your tenant and to provide you with:

  • Guaranteed monthly rental payments

  • Rental Payments throughout void periods

  • Property let within 5 days

  • Unfurnished & furnished lettings

  • Regular property inspections & checks

What was the catalyst that made you decide to go into business?

I wanted to be my own boss so when a family friend offered me the opportunity to start a lettings business, I jumped at it.

If you don't like the position, size or placement of the photos, grab, move, rotate or resize them until you do!

What was holding you back from being an entrepreneur at the time?

I’ve always had a job, so I guess job security was my comfort zone.

Then there came a time for personal reasons, I gave up my job and rather then look for a new one, I decided to start running my own business.

What was the best business advice you were given?

Your business values should be a reflection of your own values.

What is the most exciting thing happening in your sector right now?

There is so much happening within property market in London.

Demand is out striping supply so it’s exciting to find properties for the many waiting tenants.

Also we have partnered with a diverse range of landlords and organisations to supply properties for clients so that’s quite challenging, but rewarding.

It’s a great feeling to know that you are bridging the gap and helping to meet a vital need.

What are your customers demanding more from you at the moment?

One of our most exciting products is the Shared House Lettings service.

Many people cannot afford to live alone and pay all the bills so we offer and manage house shares.

We take a large house, divide it into semi self-contained studios, ensuring there are adequate facilities for all tenants.

What social media tool are you using at the moment?

I have found LinkedIn to be the most valuable social media tool at the moment.

The wide ranging groups offer up-to-date and useful industry information.

What is your take on personal business failures?

I see any failure as an opportunity to learn and grow.

If something fails, I haven’t failed.  I just need to identify what went wrong? Why it happened and how it can be avoided in the future.

What is the difference that is making the difference for success in business at the moment?

Definitely attitude, having an optimistic outlook is key.

For month’s business was slow.  Then I changed my crowd, worked with more positive partners and it’s like a miracle, business started picking up!

Who are you following on Twitter and why?

Lord Sugar. He is funny, honest and very cheeky to people others won’t dare be cheeky to.

What book would you recommend for entrepreneurs?

The Richest Man in Babylon by George S Clason

What is your favourite quote and how are you applying this in your business?

“Luck Is what happens when preparation meets opportunity” — Seneca (Roman Philospher)

We also seek the learn and grow so we can identify opportunities and not be afraid to grab them!

What next for your business?

We want to be recognised as “THE Property People”, so that investors will seek our properties and services.

We will provide life changing and life enhancing solutions to people facing challenges with properties or indeed mortgages.
