What If Nothing Is Wrong With You… and You Are Simply Exhausted From Surviving?

That question quietly sat underneath one of the most honest and emotionally powerful conversations we have hosted inside Menopause Mindset & Me: The Second Spring.

Women arrived expecting a conversation about menopause symptoms. What unfolded became something much deeper.

The session was led by Imani Sorhaindo, an experienced wellbeing practitioner and advocate whose work focuses on emotional resilience, nervous system regulation and helping women reconnect with themselves during periods of stress, transition and burnout.

Her calm, insightful and compassionate approach created space for women to finally talk openly about the emotional, mental and physical realities many have been silently carrying for years while still trying to perform, lead, nurture, care for others and keep life moving.

Throughout the session, women spoke candidly about brain fog, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, disrupted sleep, confidence shifts, burnout, stress overload and the overwhelming feeling of no longer recognising themselves.

Again and again, the same message emerged “so many women simply did not know what was happening to them.”

What made Imani’s session so impactful was her ability to connect the dots between nervous system wellbeing, chronic stress, emotional depletion and the menopause transition in a way that felt compassionate, intelligent and deeply human.

There was relief in the room.

Women found comfort in hearing “me too.” They found reassurance in realising they were not imagining things. Many began to understand that constantly pushing through exhaustion is not strength. There was also a growing recognition that rest, boundaries and self-prioritisation are essential forms of wellbeing and recovery.

For many women, The Second Spring reframed menopause entirely.

The conversation shifted away from ideas of decline or invisibility and instead positioned menopause as a reset, a season where women can finally give themselves permission to stop overextending themselves to partners, family, children, community and teams and begin prioritising their own wellbeing without guilt. It became a powerful reminder that constantly carrying everyone else’s needs while neglecting your own comes at a cost and that learning to pause, breathe, rest and put yourself first is not selfish, but necessary for healing, balance and long-term wellbeing.

That is exactly why you do not want to miss the next conversation.

Once women begin understanding the connection between stress, hormones, lifestyle, environment and emotional wellbeing, the next question naturally becomes “what is really shaping my experience?”

As the session closed, one thing became abundantly clear: women are no longer willing to simply “get through” this stage of life unsupported, uninformed or unheard.

The Second Spring reminded us of the power of honest conversations, shared experiences and creating spaces where women can reconnect with themselves without judgement or shame.

It also reminded us that understanding our wellbeing is not a luxury, it is essential and for many women, this conversation is only just beginning.

Menopause Mindset & Me:

Beyond Symptoms: What’s Really Shaping Your Experience

This upcoming session takes the conversation even further, exploring why menopause experiences differ so dramatically from woman to woman and why personalised insight matters more than ever.

We are excited to welcome Florence Iwegbue, Co-Founder of LiveWello, whose pioneering work at the intersection of AI, genetics and personalised health is helping women understand their wellbeing through a completely different lens.

This is not about fear. It is about informed empowerment.

The session will help women move from confusion to clarity, from survival mode to self-awareness and from generic advice to more personalised understanding.

If you left The Second Spring feeling seen, heard or finally understood, Beyond Symptoms: What’s Really Shaping Your Experience is the conversation that helps take that awareness to the next level.
