Migration, economic survival, racial inequality, faith, family responsibility and the expectation to remain strong often left little room to discuss personal health.

They shape how the brain, uterus, immune system and nervous system respond to the transition. For many women, especially Black women, menopause is not relief. It is the point where years of unmanaged gynaecological stress finally surface.
